ANTI-BODY (Part I) Remarkable Company - Remarkable People

I have so much to say - but have no idea where to begin. After many years, I reconnected with two sisters, Shelby and Tamara. Tamara, Shelby and Shelby's husband, Steve, started a company called ANTI-BODY. Anti-Body creates the most incredible handmade soaps, lotions and facial products using Fair Trade ingredients- but what makes this company remarkable is their story, conviction, and drive to make a difference.
I had this grand idea of doing a photo series of 'working stay-home moms'. Shelby was my first mother to photograph - however, it really turned out to be a Julian photo shoot. Sorry Shelby. I just couldn't help myself. He is full of personality, life and joy. Also, I had Sinjin with me - so I was only able to shoot about 7 photos.

Can you believe they create all of those wonderful products in just this room? Incredible. Oh, did I mention that Steve is a rocket scientist? No really - he quit his job at JPL to work full time at Anti-Body.

I often feel since I had Sinjin, my world is so small - consisting only of Sinjin's daily needs - so I really don't know how Shelby handles two boys, a business, and still has the energy to care about the world she lives in. She is an inspiration. Thank you Shelby, Steve, Julian and Finn for letting me photograph you!
